TRAIN THE TRAINER: QUAD BIKES AND SIDE BY SIDE VEHICLES

By | Past Events | No Comments

Monday 27 – Tuesday 28 November 2017

This event is hosted by Wodonga TAFE at the Driver Education Centre of Australia (DECA) facility in Shepparton – 145 Wanganui Rd, Shepparton VIC 3630

This event is a State Agricultural Trainers Network initiative, open to all RTO and TAFE trainers who deliver these units. It is a specific professional development opportunity aimed at creating consistency in delivery and assessment across all registered organisations.
Delivery of consistent validated content to users of quad bikes and side by side vehicles in the Agriculture, Horticulture and Conservation and Land Management (CLM) sectors is the key aim.

One of the requirements is to operate vehicles, involve industry and incorporate feedback. This includes input from state government representatives in regards to legislation and policy.

The 2 units we will be validating are out of the National AHC16 training package:
AHCMOM212 – Operate quad bikes
AHCMOM211 – Operate side by side utility vehicles

There will also be industry products on show, with demonstrations by local dealers Can-am, Honda and Polaris.
If you do not currently have the above competencies, Wodonga TAFE can offer them!

To register for the event and/or gaining training competencies, please email or call Reanna Clayton at Wodonga TAFE rclayton@wodongatafe.edu.au or 0428183920
Registrations must be made by 20 November 2017
